Grand Theft Auto 3 was released in 2001. It is a third-person action game. It is the
fifth title in the GTA series. This game follow up the Grand Theft Auto 2, but it
does not follow the storyline of that game. The missions in this game are
categorized as story based missions and side missions. Players are able to complete
these missions in virtually any order.
This game makes the return to Liberty City that was one of the three main cities of
Grand Theft Auto 1. In this game, player performs the role if a criminal who is shot
by his girlfriend during a bank robbery. Then this criminal is arrested by police,
taken into conviction and then sent to jail. After that the criminal escapes from jail
and makes his way to safe house.
It was the first game in the GTA series which was built using a 3D game engine.
This game became the best selling game of 2001 and was praised by its fans.
Grand Theft Auto 3 consists of single player mode.
The criminal in this game is left for death after which he gets entangled in a world
of gangs, crime and corruption. When the health of a player is damaged, it can be
recovered by regenerating the health meter through the use of health pick-ups.
When the health is totally depleted, gameplay stops.
When a player in the GTA Parody game commits a crime, the law enforcement
becomes aggressive for searching the criminal. Players are able to control the
criminal. The player is allowed to freely roam in the open world design outside of
missions, while it is necessary to follow some rules and instructions to move to the
next level inside the missions.
